5 Essential Practices for Aligning with Your True Self
Hello there, wonderful souls! We're back with another exciting edition of the Frequency. This week, we're diving deep into the realm of self-discovery. We'll explore 5 essential practices that can help you align with your true self. So, buckle up and get ready to adopt, dabble, or continue these tools for self-exploration and personal growth!
Practice Mindfulness
Mindfulness is about being present and fully engaged with whatever we're doing at the moment. It's about accepting life as it is, without judgment. A practice in mindfulness leads us away from disassociation and back to our bodies. It promotes thoughtful responses versus automatic reations. Start by taking a few minutes each day to focus on your breathing and observe your thoughts and feelings. Or practice pausing for a minute several times each day. While on pause, try to identify something that each of your senses are receiving input from. What changes do you notice? Share your experiences with us and suggest mindfulness techniques that work for you.
Embrace Self-Love
Self-love is the foundation of a happy, fulfilling life. It's about acknowledging your worth and taking care of your needs. Practice self-love by setting boundaries, practicing self-care, and forgiving yourself for past mistakes. Self-love creates a vortex which pulls others towards you in resonance with love. How do you practice self-love? Share your tips and tricks with our community and let us know if you'd like more content on this topic.
Pursue Your Passions
Pursuing your passions can lead to a life of authenticity and fulfillment. It's about doing what makes you happy and brings you joy. Start by identifying your passions and finding ways to incorporate them into your daily life. Notice it may be plural, passions. How have your passions helped you align with your true self? Share your stories with us and suggest future topics related to pursuing passions.
Clear the Stagnant Energies
"You must have nothing to put something into." -Zen Proverb
If life is like the movie "Ground Hog Day," if it is lack-luster, if you are a victim of life, or you keep repeating the same undesirable cycles, YOU HAVE STAGNATION! Get this energy out instead of moving in circles in your body. We do this with the help of others through Accupuncture or Reike. We also have everything we need within us to alchemize the energy that causes repreated cycles. We practice Kundalini to clear the energies that are stuck in our bodies and minds. I had a teacher explain it as, "It's like psychotherapy, without the psychotherapy!" I'm sure there is a more eloquent way to state that these days, but Kundalini is great for this. You purge the sticky, energies that never go away. They are always there, just a scratch away from the surface. You know that thing that a class mate said to you in the seventh grade and it still pops up occasionally out of nowhere for seemingly no reason at all? Kundalini can get rid of that. It gets rid of those energies that do not serve you without needing to remember how they got there or why they are still there. Let's connect online or in person to get you started on the perfect daily Kundalini Kriya (set of exercises) for you!
Resonate with Frequencies
Resonance is when the amplitude of one wave impacts the amplitude of another wave usually resulting in harmony. Once we clear or alchemize unwanted frequencies from your body, why not fill them with frequencies that resonate with positivity, joy, abundance, health or balance? The easiest way to achieve this is to soak all of your cells in a luxurious frequency bath. At my live events, Resonate & Rise, you can enjoy both the benefits of Kundalini and the resonance of a frequency bath all in 90 minutes.
Until next time, stay curious and keep exploring!
